Kaitlyn joined the team as an Advocate in 2026, having been called to the Manx Bar in March 2024.

She practises primarily in litigation across both criminal and civil matters, with a core focus on criminal defence. Kaitlyn regularly represents clients at every stage of proceedings, from Police Station interviews through to sentencing, contested hearings and appeals.  She has jury trials listed before the Court of General Gaol Delivery this year.

Kaitlyn is a member of the Legal Aid Panel and undertakes Police Station and Court Duty Advocate work.

Alongside her criminal practice, Kaitlyn advises and represents clients in family matters, including divorce, financial remedy applications, child contact arrangements, and maintenance issues. She also assists the family team with care proceedings.

In addition to her litigation practice, Kaitlyn has experience in Wills and Enduring Powers of Attorney, as well as civil litigation matters such as personal injury claims and landlord and tenant disputes.

Kaitlyn graduated with a degree in Criminology and, during her studies, spent five months at the State University of New York, where she completed a module in Criminal Law. She went on to obtain a commendation in her Graduate Diploma in Law, followed by a commendation in the Legal Practice Course. She later completed a Master’s in Law in Manchester, also receiving a commendation.
